Ann was married for 64 years to the love of her life and high school sweetheart, David Frank Green, Jr. who preceded her in death. She was a loving and devoted mother to Cynthia Green Davis and her husband, Dr. Gregory Raymond Davis, Scott Hutchinson Green and his spouse, Robert Dean Smith, daughter-in-law, Janna Tew Green; grandmother to Erin Green Lambert and her husband, Christopher Lambert, Elizabeth Green Olivier and her husband, Stephan Olivier, Kathryn Davis Wampold and her husband, Morgan Wampold and Claire Davis Johnson and her husband, Jared Johnson; great-grandmother to Meagan Elizabeth Lambert and David Christopher Lambert; and sister to brother, Campbell Cummings Hutchinson and wife Allison Stewart Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Campbell Cummings Hutchinson, Jr. and Mary Frances Marshall Hutchinson, son, David Frank Green III and granddaughter, Meagan Elizabeth Green. Born March 31, 1932, Ann was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana attending C. E. Byrd High School where she met Frank and formed lasting friendships through her social club N.Y.B. She attended Newcomb College and Southern Methodist University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Family always came first for Ann. Whether driving carpools, chaperoning field trips, being a den mother, or sitting in the audience of her children's concerts, plays, recitals or sporting events, she was always involved with her children's activities. After one weekend at Frank's "hunting camp" on Toledo Bend, she envisioned a wonderful place fondly called "Full House" for her family to create lasting memories. So many weekends began with filling up the station wagon with provisions, children (each with a friend) and dogs prior to heading out for grand adventures. Golfing was a passion of Ann. She and Frank enjoyed many golfing trips to Colorado and beyond with other couples. Ann also treasured the many road trips with fellow lady golfers to regional tournaments always seeking the "jeweled treasures" awarded to the winners. Ann was involved with many community organizations including the Junior League of Shreveport where she served in many capacities including president. She was especially proud of chairing a committee on children with learning disabilities which resulted in the first program of its type in Caddo Parish Schools. Ann was also active with the Y.W.C.A serving in various capacities including chairing the development drive to establish the Allendale Y.W.C.A. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Shreveport where she taught Sunday School and served on the administrative board and multiple committees. She was most honored to serve as co-chairman for Project 2000 which included converting the old Holsum Bakery Building into the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and the A.V.N. television communication center with uplink satellite, the first such earth station built by a major protestant denomination. As with everything in which Ann became engaged, she successfully mastered real estate sales later in life enjoying gratification in finding the perfect home for so many. Ann was also active with the Demoiselle Club, Cotillion Club, Shreveport Country Club Ladies Golf Association and Twentieth Century Club. Honoring Ann as pallbearers were Campbell Hutchinson, Jared Johnson, Christopher Lambert, Stephan Olivier, Sheldon Snow and Morgan Wampold. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Delton Harrison, Bill Murphy, Gilbert Shanley, Shelby Smith, Dr. Paul Winder and Dr. Seborn Woods. The family would like to express its appreciation for the loving care provided by the caregivers and staff of Preferred Care at Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorials be made to the Bold Campaign at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, 3715 Youree Drive, Shreveport, LA 71105 or the charity of the donor's choice. She was beautiful to the end.
