A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Aubrey Rayann Bailes, 17, on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, 939 Jordan St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Father John Paul Crispin.
Aubrey was born on March 24, 2003 to Heather Carroll and Derek Bailes in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Keithville, Louisiana.
Aubrey was a senior at Loyola College Prep and attended Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of the Loyola Bowling Team, the Drama Club, a member of the International Thespian Society and a member of FAITH. Aubrey was also a Second Degree Blackbelt in Tang Soo Do.
Aubrey is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John and Mary Garcia; grandfather, Jeff Garr; great-grandmother, Adelgunde Joelich; grandmother, Nora Jaques and grandmother, Theresa Bailes. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Heather Carroll and husband, Todd; father, Derek Bailes and wife, Monica; step-brothers, Cameron and Carter; grandparents, Manuel and Raynette Sepulvado; grandmothers, Patty Carroll and Patrilla Vigil; grandfathers, John Bailes and Allan Jaques; aunts, Tiffany Gaar (David Searcy), Sherry Hohimer and husband, Kirk, Adina Estes, Tatjaina McAlister and husband, Patrick; and uncle, Chris Vigil and wife, Kelly; and numerous cousins.
Honoring Aubrey as pallbearers will be Marshall Tucker, Troy Mosley, Graham Montgomery, Elliott Scott, Avain Smith and Landon Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be students and faculty of Loyola College Prep.
