Bennie Allen Strickland

Bennie Allen Strickland was born on December 29, 1949 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana to Bennie Ray Strickland and Betty Strickland and passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Bennie was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He loved sports and the outdoors. His 20 plus years spent in the Marine Corp was one of his most treasured accomplishments. He was a member of the first graduating class at Captain Shreve High School. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Betty Strickland; brother, Mike Strickland and wife, Anne; sister, Charlotte Holland and husband, David; children, Shana Strickland, Casey Griffin, Melinda Fisher and Richard Strickland; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his little dog Joe.
