She taught at JS Clark, Northwood High, Huntington High, Captain Shreve High, and Northwestern State University. Betty had amazing talents, including cooking, sewing, knitting, quilting, recovering furniture, painting, and home maintenance. She loved using her talents to support church functions and charitable activities. She was an avid reader and gardener, having a great love of plants and animals. She was a great wife, mom, and Nana. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Robinson Cole, Sr. and her son, Ted Robinson Cole, Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael Cole and wife, Patricia; daughter, Candace Wiggins; daughter-in-law Diane Cole; five grandchildren, Scott Cole, Bonnie Allgood and husband, Taylor, Catherine Cole, Meghan Durrett and husband, Dustin, Madeline Smith and husband, Douglas; seven great-grandchildren, Carter and Taylor Sue Durrett, Jane and Eileen Allgood, Collin and Katelyn Cole, and Gotham Smith.
