Bobbie Frye Williams

A funeral service for Bobbie Frye Williams, 86, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Keithville, 6295 Williams Road, Keithville. Officiating the service will be Reverend Mike Stowell. Bobbie was born on July 26, 1934, to Leona Charping Frye and Guy Hamilton Frye, and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Throughout every stage of Bobbie's life, she liked to be involved. As a young mother of four children, she was active in the Keithville Homemakers Club, and was busy with sewing projects, making beautiful nativity sets from ceramics, and growing African violet plants. When her children were grown, she joined the Red Hat Society, and was a member of a country line dance group that performed at local senior citizen homes. In her later years, Bobbie could be found playing Bingo, Mexican train dominoes, or bean bag baseball. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Keithville for over fifty years, and was a member of the Jewel class at the time of her death. Bobbie was an avid reader, who despite living right across the street from a library, refused to go to any branch other than the one in Stonewall after forming a lifelong friendship with one of the ladies there. She loved collecting recipes and could be counted on to be the official food critic at Summerfield Estates, and happy to offer suggestions to the chef. Preceding Bobbie in death are her husband of fifty-seven years, Jere Ivy Williams; daughter, Jeri Lynn Ruddell; son-in-law, Larry E. Gibbons, Jr.; grandson, Julius Patrick "Chuckie" Gibbons; brothers Glenford Frye and Tommie Frye, and sister-in-law, Val Frye. She is survived by a son, Paul Sicilia (Kacie), of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters Christi Breithaupt (Justin) of Shreveport, and Traci Miguez (John), of Alexandria, Louisiana; grandchildren Shawn Sicilia (Ellen), Jeremy McCarty (Heidi), Shannon Money, Clay Ruddell, Chelsi Daquanno (Lee), Jacquelyn Breithaupt, Madison Gibbons, Juelie Gish (Brandon), Jennifer Breithaupt, Colby Breithaupt (Claire Beth), Cameron Miguez, Mia Miguez, and Ava Miguez. Also surviving her are great-grandchildren Patrick Money, Trevor Money, Taylor McCarty, Mason McCarty, Devyn McCarty, Lilah Barnes, Evelyn Daquanno, Elliott Daquanno, Brett Breithaupt, and Kelly Gish. Pallbearers are her grandsons Shawn Sicilia, Jeremy McCarty, Colby Breithaupt, Cameron Miguez, Lee Daquanno, Brandon Gish, and great-grandson Mason McCarty. The family has suggested in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the First Baptist Church of Keithville.
