HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Brooke Prince, 37, at 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Homer with Brian Thurman and Rick Scarborough officiating. Interment will followed at Arlington Cemetery. The family received friends from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Brooke was born December 21, 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Dr. and Mrs. Andy Prince. She entered into rest Monday, March 27, 2017 in Homer, La. Brooke loved her boys and was a loyal friend. She had an infectious smile and a passion for fashion. Brooke was a graduate from Louisiana Tech University.
Brooke was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Laverne and King Gladney and paternal grandparents Ruth and Hershell "Buck" Prince.
She is survived by her sons, Lake and Hunt Grant; parents, Andy and Shirley Prince; sister, Cheryl Toney and husband Derek; sister, April McCartney and husband Cameron; brother, Carl Prince and wife Cheryl; nephews, Miller and Miles Toney; niece, Linden Kate McCartney; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Casey Prince, Chris Prince, Colton Hensley, Daniel Prince, David Gladney, Logan Hensley, Philip Prince, Trenton Hensley, Zachary Hensley and Mark Gladney .
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Joe Camp, Craig Almond, Jason Brazzel, Keith Lee, King Gladney and Zack Buckner.
In lieu of flowers honoring Brooke, her family suggests donations be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children\'s Home in Monroe.
