Funeral services honoring the life of Carolyn "Mam-maw" Scott will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Reverend Dale Wooten and Reverend T.J. Lewis will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Haughton Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Carolyn Scott was born January 22, 1940, to W.L. and Myrtie Byers and passed away peacefully Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Dade "Billy" Scott, Jr.; daughter, Valerie Brownlee; her parents and sister, Deanie Turner. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Sheila Magee, of Bossier City, LA; sister, Shirley Shaw and husband, Bobby; brother, Winferd Byers and wife, Evelyn; grandchildren, Joshua Meyer and wife, Vicky, Ansley Okker and wife, Tiffany Perkins, Jena Brownlee, Justin Brownlee and spouse, Kayla McCray, Dillon Magee, Marlon Magee and great-grandchildren, Alexus Ehrhard, Noah Brownlee, Porter Brownlee, Gracee Perkins, Maddie Perkins, Maximus Brownlee and Valerie Brownlee. Honoring Carolyn as pallbearers will be Rusty Ford, Duke Scott, Eric Scott, Richard Scott, Casey Shaw, and Wade Shaw. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Scott and Bobby Shaw.
