Charles Glenn Jones

A funeral mass honoring the life of Charles Glenn Jones 71, of Zwolle, LA will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Timothy C. Hurd will officiate and Deacon Jerry Daigle will assist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 from 5-9pm. A rosary and vigil service will be held at 6:45pm.   Glenn was born in Porter, Texas on January 5, 1943. He entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2014 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, LA.   He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, LA. He was employed by the Sabine Parish School System for 30 years. He was also employed by St. Joseph Catholic Church in maintenance for a number of years as well as doing mechanic work in his spare time.   Glenn was preceded in death by his parents C.H. and Aleece Bass Jones; sons Byron Dean Jones and Charles "Chuck" Jones; sister Helen Jones.   He is survived by his wife of 51 years Doris Ezernack Jones of Zwolle,LA; children Karen Jones Barnhill and husband Dwayne of Montgomery, TX, Tim Jones and wife Suzanne of Lake Charles, LA, Melissa Jones of Alexandria, LA; grandchildren Kerry Jones, Ashley Rivers, Kaitlyn Barnhill, Destiny Barnhill, Byron Jones, Nick Jones; sisters Shirley Ezernack and husband Dalton of Zwolle, LA, Mildred Moore of Mansfield, LA, Brenda Ezernack and husband Wayne of Noble,LA; brothers Wayne Jones and wife Shirley of Zwolle, LA, Johnny Jones and wife Dianne of Round Rock, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.   Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Dalton "BoBo" Ezernack, Chris Ezernack, Bernie Dwyer, Kyle Ezernack, Waylon Jones.
