SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Cherrie Hitt Runyan will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, August 25, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Cherrie was born May 17, 1930 in Shreveport and passed away on August 23, 2017 in Shreveport. She was a retired school cafeteria manager. She attended Rose Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Runyan and parents, Chummie and Nellie Hitt. She is survived by her son, Lowell Runyan and wife, Gail, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor's choice.
