Christine Blaine

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Christine Nunn Blaine, 69, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Craig Kennedy. Interment will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the funeral home.

Christine was born on September 18, 1946 in Nashville, AR to Jim Fred Nunn and Bonner Ramage Nunn, and passed away on June 26, 2016. She was a loving mother to her children, and Nana to her grandchildren. She opened her heart and her home to so many others over the years. Christine was a long time Restaurant Manager who was dedicated to her job and employee's. She also held a special place in her heart for the Bossier City Police Department.

Preceding Christine in death are her parents, daughter Kimberly Blaine, son Jeffrey Blaine, sisters Nina Chambers, Gay Bennett, and Joy Green, and great-granddaughter Allie Marie Hall. Leaving to cherish her memory are her; husband, Jerry Blaine; son, Jerry S. Blaine and wife Daniella; daughters, Deniese Crofton and husband John, and Christie Harvey and Blake Kennedy; grandchildren, Emily Hall and husband, Dustin, William Blaine, Colton Harvey, Jeffrey Harvey, Noah Crofton, Maximus Crofton; great-grandchild, Sophia Hall; brothers, Gene Nunn, and J.R. Nunn; sister, Nora Brown and numerous family members.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. John G. Underwood, Dr. Scott Boniol and staff at Christus Highland especially Thomas Waters, R.N.

Honoring Christine as pallbearers will be William Blaine, Noah Crofton, Maximus Crofton, Colton Harvey, Jeffrey Harvey, Hank Johnson.
