On November 18, 2018 Christopher exited time and entered eternity at 2 a.m. He died peacefully without pain or struggle. He woke up in the presence of Jesus and was welcomed by his sweetheart and wife, Frances, who preceded him in death two years ago. He will also be welcomed by his Irish immigrant parents, Michael and Catherine Riordan, who gave him his Irish Heritage in which he took great pride. We, his children and grandchildren, will miss the twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes, his mischievous humor, unfailing words of encouragement and love for his family and friends. We also referred to him as Mr. Gadget, joking he was born in the wrong decade for his love of technology. Christopher served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He then went to Centenary College of Louisiana before beginning a distinguished sales career in the health and beauty aids industry and then later the wholesale optical wear industry, where he retired from New York Eye, Inc. at the age of 80. He enjoyed his church, family, and dogs Bella and Tipper. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Michael Riordan Jr. of Queens, NY, John Riordan of Miami, FL, his father, Michael Riordan Sr. and mother, Catherine Riordan of Brooklyn, NY and his wife, Frances Riordan of Shreveport. Christopher is survived by his children, Michael Riordan and wife, Carla of Shreveport, LA, daughter, Teresa Riordan Sayers and husband, Marvin of Tyler, TX , stepchildren, Cynthia Boggs Thomas of Shreveport, LA, David Boggs and wife, Frances of Shreveport, LA, Mark Boggs and wife, Marvett of Bossier City, LA, Randy Boggs Johnson and wife, Felicia of Stonewall, LA, Gina LaLena of Ft.
