Conchetta Rose Miller, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana with a visitation thirty minutes prior to service. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Road, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Darwin Hunter and the eulogy will be read by Steve Pierce.
She was born to Pasquale and Marie Gilberti on July 8, 1939 in Springfield, Massachusetts. She married the love of her life Rex Miller, Sr. on May 24, 1958 and they had four children Debra, Pauline, Rex Jr. and Marie.
Known to her friends and family as \"Connie\", she was a devoted lifelong housewife and mother who loved spending time with family and friends. Her home was always open, and you could be assured that you would not leave hungry. She was a shopaholic who enjoyed trips to the beach, family game night and holiday celebrations, especially Christmas.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex Miller, Sr and
great-grandson, Dakota Michael Gilbert. She is survived by her children Debra Duncan and husband, Frank, Pauline Hearst and husband, Marty, Rex Miller, Jr. and wife, Tonia and Marie Luaces and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Chris Pierce and wife, Gloria, Aaron Miller and wife, Tasha, Starla Pierce, Ryan Miller, Morgen Miller Farnsworth and husband, Jeremy, Joseph Miller, Lauren Gore and husband, Matthew, Dustin Gabour and Joseph Duncan and wife, Krista; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Danielle Gilberti, Hayden and Holden Miller, Jake and Cole Pierce and Emerson Farnsworth; loving sister and brother, whom she did not go one day without talking to Loretta Elkas and husband, Kenneth; and brother Joseph Gilberti and wife, Michelle; sister-in law, Susie Braun and husband, Mike and a host of nieces, multiple great-nieces and great- nephews.
Honoring Connie as pallbearers are Aaron Miller, Marty Hearst, Eric Luaces, Ryan Miller, Joe Miller and Dustin Gabour.
Connie will be truly missed by her family and all of the lives she touched.
