Curt Taylor

Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Curt Taylor, age 63, at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Rev. Doug DeGraffenreid will officiate. Interment will follow at Alabama Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Curt was born February 27, 1953 to Jack and Cordelia Taylor in Ruston. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Arcadia. He had served North Bienville Parish as the Fire Chief. Curt was a consummate tradesman with expertise in so many area; electrician, plumbing, welding, heavy equipment operations, explosives, emergency medical services and fireman. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Cordelia Harrison Taylor. Curt is survived by his wife Susan M. Taylor, sons Blake Taylor, Heath Smith, Nicholas Smith and Matthew Smith, daughter Lindsey Smith, sisters Barbara Camp and Teresa Cleveland and husband Rick, brothers Jack Taylor and wife Debbie, Tim Taylor and wife Teresa, and Mike Taylor, grandchildren Aubrie Guin, Gabe Krouse, Dalton and Jacob Smith and Johnny Smith, nieces and nephews Bridget, Jennifer, Jaquelyn, Lalla, Mark, Ricky, Nicole, Melanie, Angie, Tracy, Amy, Haley and Casey and by numerous other family and friends.
