Funeral services for Cynthia Adkins Hollis (Cindy) will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Minden, Louisiana with Leslie Glenn Hollis and Tracy Winget officiating. Interment will follow at Adkins Cemetery in Haynesville, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the Church of Christ in Minden. Cindy was born September 6, 1947 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana and entered into rest October 1, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Denzil Maurice Adkins, mother, Doris Crye Adkins. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Leslie Hollis, Jr.; sons, Leslie Glenn Hollis, Brian Lance Hollis and wife Kim Evans Hollis; daughter, Sherry Hollis Merritt and husband Adam Merritt; grandchildren, Claudia Rose Hollis, Ayden Reese Hollis, Wyatt Lane Merritt, Ella Maurine Hollis, Leslie Michelle Hollis, Landry Hollis Merritt, Kaleb Shrable, Jacob Shrable, and Noah Shrable; sister, Sherrelene Adkins Smith and husband James E. Smith; brother, Richard Dale Adkins and wife Margaret Moran Adkins and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Brian Hollis, Adam Merritt, Ayden Hollis, Wyatt Merritt, Landry Merritt, Michael Adkins and Leslie Glenn Hollis.
