Funeral services for Damon Demetrius Stewart, 26, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Bossier Chapel, with Evangelist Jackie Loveless officiating. Burial will follow at the Ford Wilson Cemetery in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until service begins at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral Home. Damon Demetrius Stewart departed from this life on January 21, 2020. He was born June 20, 1993 to the late Irma Jean Stewart of Benton, Louisiana and Robert Edward Dixon of Shreveport, Louisiana. Damon "Scooter" Stewart was a fun-loving individual who cherished life, family, friends and bringing people together. He was a loving brother and a devoted uncle that loved to sing and dance. Through his faith and trust in God, he remained strong until he was called home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Jean Stewart, father, Robert E. Dixon, grandmother, Dorothy Jean James, four uncles, four aunts, and other relatives. Precious memories will be cherished by his three siblings: Ronald, Nicole, and ABC Stewart, all of Bossier City, Louisiana, grandmother, Ethel Dixon of Shreveport Louisiana, godparents Venson and Sharon Maggio of Bossier City, Louisiana. two aunts, Linda Stewart and Kathy Miller and husband Charles, uncle, Johnny Stewart and wife Emma, two great aunties, and four great uncles all of Benton, Louisiana, four nieces, three nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Honoring Damon as pallbearers will be: Ezzard (Trey) Miller, Vincent Smith, Anthony Stewart, Michael Stewart, Ronald Stewart, and Terry Stewart, and as honorary pallbearers: Venson Maggio, Ezzard Miller, William Parks, Ronald Robinson, Johnny Stewart, and Terrell Stewart,
