Dana Litton

Shreveport, LA - Dana Jacqueline Ott Litton age 80, passed away on June 4, 2020 peacefully at home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jackie was surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Litton was born on August 12, 1939 to Charlie R. Ott and Jessie Williams Ott in Mitchell, Louisiana outside of Converse, LA. She grew up there with her younger sister, Jan. Jackie attended school at Oak Grove and graduated in 1957. She attended Northwest State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana for two years before leaving college life to marry the love of her life, Bobby H. Litton on December 23, 1959. For sixty years they lived a life full of love and cared for each other. Jackie taught four year old preschool at various church schools in Shreveport and impacted so many children's lives. She often saw former students and they always remembered her affectionately. Mrs. Litton was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bobby Litton, her daughters, Dana L. Dixon and her husband David L. Dixon, Darla Litton all of Shreveport, LA; her sister, Jan Johnson and husband Tick Johnson of Converse, LA. The light of her life was her three granddaughters, Jacqueline Migues, Katherine Hare and Mandy Wallace. She spent thousands of hours loving and teaching them. She loved them so much and they loved their Granny. She is survived by her oldest granddaughter, Jacqueline Migues and her husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, June, Easton and Max. Also by her middle granddaughter, Katherine and great-granddaughter, Bella and her youngest granddaughter Mandy, her husband Jamie Wallace, and two great-grandsons, Hunter and Trenton. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on June 6, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery, 158 Fellowship Cir, Converse, LA. Brother Pat Cobbs Will be officiating the service. Friends may sign the guest book at Rose Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Honoring Mrs. Litton as pallbearers will be David Dixon, Hunter Wallace, Trenton Wallace, Jamie Wallace, Brandon Migues and Sidney Johnson.
