Daniel Parrie, Sr.

Funeral services for Daniel Parrie, Sr. will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Leon Manshack officiating; interment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A visitation for him will be held in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:45 PM. His visitation will continue on Thursday morning from 8:00 AM until the time of his service. Daniel "Boone" Parrie was born November 20, 1950 in Shreveport, LA to Walter Parrie and Fannie Marie (Remedies) Parrie and entered into rest on August 10, 2020 in Shreveport. Preceding "Boone" in death were his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Walter Parrie; his sister, Mary Cook; and his brother, Jody Parrie. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Valerie (Ezernack) Parrie; his son, Daniel Parrie Jr.& wife, Amanda of Many, LA; his son, Japhen Parrie & wife, Destiny of Zwolle, LA; his daughter, Michelle Quintero & husband, Fernando of Zwolle, LA; his sister, Elise "Dots" Meshell of Ebarb, LA; his sister, Elma "Tay" McTire of Keithville, LA; his sister, Dixie Dozier & husband, David of Oklahoma City, OK; his sister, Maggie Meshell of Ebarb, LA; his brother, Walter Steve Parrie & wife, Mary of Amarillo, TX. In addition, he also leaves behind his 13 grandchildren: Clayton, Elizabeth, Abbey, Keylee, Olivia, Isaac, Gaby, Isabella, Lilly, Marquise, Paighton, Laiken, and Kynlee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Honoring Daniel as pallbearers will be Douglas Meshell, Sr., Howard "Chubby" Meshell, Herbert Ray Meshell, Kevin Meshell, Douglas Meshell, Jr., Robert McTire, James Stampley, and Chris Harley.
