A memorial service honoring the life of David Allen Lewis, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 15, 2020, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Doug Lovett. A visitation with the family will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel until time of service.

David Allen Lewis, Jr. was born August 1, 1983 in Alexandria, Louisiana to parents David Allen Lewis, Sr. and Cindy Amaral Manning and passed away Friday, February 7, 2020, in Waskom, Texas.

David was a loving son, father, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. As a certified personal trainer, he loved helping others. He was a talented guitar player and song writer who brought joy to people by playing and singing.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Mitzi Amaral; brother, Dustin Amaral; grandfather, Norm Lewis and grandmother, Priscilla Lockhart.
Left to cherish David’s memory are his mother, Cindy Manning of Waskom, TX; father, David Allen Lewis, Sr. and wife, Deb of Midway, AR; son, Trenton Lewis Hall of Norfork, AR; daughter, Madison Lewis Hall of Norfork, AR; mother of his children, Ashely Garris; sisters, April Phillips of Bossier City, LA, Kristian Arslanovski of Burleson, TX and Cynthia Manning of Waskom, TX; brother, Bob Amaral and wife, Samantha of DeRidder, LA; grandmother, Carol Lewis of Mt. Vernon, IL; aunt, Angie Lloyd and husband, Matt of Mountain Home, AR; nieces, Alayna and Kinsley Phillips and Paizley Amaral and nephews, Tyler Arslanovski and Ryett Amaral.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Heartsway Hospice, especially Kellie Lomax, for her excellent care and compassion. They would also like to thank Eddie Wallace and Kathy Walters for continuously being by his side.
