Debra Stone

Funeral services for Debra R. Stone, 66, will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Debra was born on March 26, 1954 in Marion, Illinois and passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Debra was a resident of Keithville and worked at Libbey Glass for 15 years. After leaving Libbey Glass, she found a passion for being a caregiver. She loved fishing, camping and anything to do with spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother with a heart of gold. She loved God and has now joined Him in her eternal home. Debra is preceded in death by her parents, Charlene Murphy and Bob Murphy; brothers, Randal Stacy and Del Ray Stacy; sister, Susan Kent; Grandson, Robert Bain. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Shayne Stone and fiancé, Jill Garsee; daughter, Stephanie Bain; granddaughters, Kristin Bain, Rachal Stone and fiancé, Bailey Lansing; grandson, Huie Stone; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Melton, Devan Bain; best friend, Shirley Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
