A memorial service honoring the life of Mrs. Diane R. Commons will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel with Reverend Gloria Youngblood officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date and location. Diane was born September 22, 1941 in Tallulah, Louisiana to Cleburne "Frenchie" Ramagos and Lottie Legal and she entered into rest on January 14, 2021 at her residence in Many, Louisiana. She obtained her BA degree, master's degree, and Plus 30 degree in Supervision and Education from the University of Monroe (formerly NLU). She was a lifelong educator with a combined 38 years as both a classroom teacher and assistant principal at Tallulah Elementary School. Her last 4 years she taught at Ebarb Elementary School in Sabine Parish where she retired in June 2000. Her family hopes she will be remembered for her quick wit and dedication to education and touching the lives of the children she taught and the educators she taught with over her career in the education system. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Cleburne "Frenchie" Ramagos; and her sisters, Valencia Elledge, and Carolyn Halbach. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, George Commons of Many, LA; her son, Brett Raley & wife, Tracy of Delhi, LA; her son, Drew Cagnolatti of Calhoun, LA; her son, William Commons & wife, Rachel of Denham Springs, LA; her daughter, Jill Raley & spouse, Donna of Lake Charles, LA, her daughter, Lisa Clement & husband, Kevin of Prairieville, LA. She also has 6 grandchildren, Anna Beth Raley, Mac Cagnolatti, Kage Commons, Sarah Clement, Avery Bencaz, and Brayden Bencaz. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Diane's family would like to personally thank Hospice of Natchitoches for the care shown and given to their loved one.
