Homer - Funeral services were held for Barbara Diane Mills, Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Homer at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Brandon officiating. Interment followed at Arlington cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Diane was born September 7, 1952 to Andre and Eloise Cooper Burns. She entered into rest March 15, 2018, in Homer, following a lengthy illness. Diane was preceded in death by their son Johnny Dale Mills, her parents Andre and Eloise Cooper Burns, fathers-in-law John Otis Mills & Marion Dale Baxter. She is survived by her loving husband John Henry "Johnny" Mills, married since May 9, 1975, mother-in-law Melvis Baxter, sisters-in-law Kathye Ward and husband Manuel and Tammie McCann and husband Gary, brother-in-law Dewayne Mills, brother Ronnie Burns and wife Jay, and by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Pallbearers were Steven Ward, Michael Ward, Michael Shayne Ward, Ragan McCann, O'Neil Fox, and Tommy Brunner.
