Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Dolores Scott Howell, 80, will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Reverend David Permenter and Larry Pridmore officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 12:00 till 2:00 PM. Dolores was born on October 11, 1935 in Pelican, LA to H.C. and Opal Scott and passed away on May 5, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Preceding Dolores in death is her husband, Bobby Howell; Parents H.C. and Opal Scott, and son, Dennis Howell. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ginger McClure and husband Charley, Sara Petrus and husband Clay; sisters, Fern Winkler, Jan Norris, Linda Lilley, Connie Frazier; grandchildren, Trey McClure, Morgan McClure, Rachel Brady and husband Edward, Emily Green and husband Nick, and 4 great grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Dolores as pallbearers will be Roger Whitlock, Terry Martin, Bob Palmer, Brad Craig, Lane Cangelose, Alvin Lum, Gary Hobbs, and Bill Preston. In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be sent to Beulah Baptist Building fund.
