He worked for many years in the electronics and biomedical field and recently retired from Willis Knighton Health Systems in March of this year. Don’s life was filled with laughter and love. He loved his family, his friends, his church, and the Lord. He was a faithful member at Baptist Tabernacle for over 50 years. He never failed to invite others to come to church with him. His desire was for others to know Jesus as he did.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie D. and Oma Faye Lane, and his brother, Harold Lane. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Mary Lane; daughters, Teresa Paulk and husband Daryll and Debbie Lane; sons, Steven Lane and wife Kelley and Michael Lane and wife Lori; grandchildren, Alisha Lewis, Ryan Paulk, Matthew Coalson, Trevor Coalson, Brooke Lane, and Nicholas Lane; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Judah, and Israel Lewis, and Paisley and Easton Paulk.

Honoring Don as pallbearers will be Ryan Paulk, Daryll Paulk, Jon Lewis, Tom Lee, Steven Lane, Michael Lane, Matthew Coalson, and Trevor Coalson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Tabernacle Building Fund, 8501 E. Kingston Road, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71118.
