Donella Cole

Funeral services for Donella Cole, 87, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Donella was born December 17, 1930 in Maude, OK to Roy and Dona Morgan and passed away on January 13, 2018 in Corinth, TX. She was a certified financial planner. She was president of the Elks Auxiliary and National Association of Bank Women and a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She loved quilting, playing cards, traveling, and working in her yard. Donella was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy Morgan, Phillip Morgan, and Tommy Morgan; and sisters, Rosemary Perot and JoAnn Click. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rebecca Hargis; granddaughter, Donna Smith; step-grandson, Terry Hargis; and sister, Margaret Mitcham. Honoring Donella as pallbearers are Sterling Smith, Leyton Smith, Avery Smith, David Mitcham, Mark Morgan, and Carl Morgan.
