Vivian, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Earnestine "Tina" Hemperley, age 79 will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. with Rev. Calvin Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in DeBerry, TX. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Friday, October 9th at the funeral home. Tina was born on November 7, 1935 in Bethany, TX to Robert and Effie Parker and passed away at her home on October 7, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Ferry Lake Baptist Church, Oil City and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Tina loved to paint, spend time with her grandsons, great granddaughters, family and her dog, Babe. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Effie Parker; daughter, JoAnn Hemperley; brother, Martell Parker and sister, Doris Vaughan. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jesse R. Hemperley; son, Johnny Hemperley and wife, Patty; daughter, Janet Stanley and husband, Rickey; twin brother, Bobby G. Parker and wife, Brenda and sisters in law, Kookie Hemperley and Vernell Parker. Tina is also survived by four grandsons, David Stanley, Greg Stanley, Brian Stanley and Justin Hemperley; two great granddaughters, Skyla and Kamille Stanley, and a host of other family and friends. Honoring Tina, as pallbearers will be David Stanley, Greg Stanley, Brian Stanley, Justin Hemperley, Steve Hemperley and Scott Brown. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Willis-Knighton, Bossier, The Promise Hospital of Bossier and Ressia Washington of Martin Family Support Services for all the love, care and support. The family has request that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
