SHREVEPORT, LA – Funeral services for Elsie Louise Stegall, 86, will be held 12 noon Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive. Officiating will be Brother Billy Franks, Father Francis Kamau and Pastor Doyce Smith. Intermnet will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the funeral home.
   Elsie was born on January 20, 1928 in Oil City, LA and passed away on September 7, 2014. She was a resident of Shreveport, LA and a homemaker.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurshiell Stegall; father, Jacob Paul Hardin; mother, Catherine Shepp; six sisters and four brothers. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Hurshiell Dean Stegall, Ronnie Stegall, and Charles Ray “Bubba” Stegall; daughters, Linda Brittain and Shirley Garcie; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-granchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
   Honoring Elsie as pallbearers will be Shane Stegall, Austin Stegall, Seth Losey, Taylor Gentry, Johnny Dean Frederick, and Douglas Stegall.
A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and Pastor Doyce Smith for their loving care.
