Ethel Graves

A Celebration of Life graveside service for Ethel "Mama" Graves will be held at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Father Fidel Montedragon. Ethel was born on March 19, 1930 in Converse, Louisiana to Jack Ebarb and Carrie Paddie and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She devoted her life to caring for others. She worked as an in home care giver taking care of elderly patients. She was a devoted Catholic and was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that anyone could imagine. Her greatest joy in life was listening to live music and dancing, spending time with family and cooking for them. She loved to watch the Saints play football, watching professional baseball and gardening. She was happy to provide meals and shelter to anybody she knew that needed help. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Thomas "Tag" Graves. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Graves and wife, Sandy and Glen Graves and wife, Bonny; daughters, Nannette Howell and Janice Griffith; sisters, Virginia Alexander and husband, Wayne and Shirley Chreene; brother, Murrell Paddie and wife, Linda and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Shah and the staff on the fourth floor of Willis-Knighton Bossier for their excellent care and compassion.
