Lake Charles - Funeral services for Frances Torina Baldridge will be held in the Chapel of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. with Father Rusty Rabalais, officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph II Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville. Frances Torina Baldridge, age 89 of Lake Charles, formally of Avoyelles Parish, passed away at the Harbor Hospice Facility in Lake Charles on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 3:55 A.M. Mrs. Baldridge was a devout Catholic, where she attended Mass on a daily basis. Frances was the owner-operator of the Dixie Dandy Grocery in Marksville from 1970 - 1989 and also owned and operated Popeyes Fried Chicken from 1988 - 2003. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed traveling to Antique Car Shows and Food Conventions. Her legacy will remain in Avoyelles Parish as a hard working business woman and friend to everyone she encountered. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jason Baldridge of Lake Charles, Christine Baldridge of Baton Rouge, Debra (Steve) Sweeney of Katy, TX., Arlene (Randy) Coco of Bordelonville, Hannah (Jay) Dekerlegand of Katy, TX., grandchildren, Wesley, Rachael, Vincent, Derrick, Amanda, Erica, Jared, Victoria and Carlo. Also survived by 3 Great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baldridge was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Baldridge, parents, Mike and Corinne Trentacosta Torina, siblings, Carlo Torina, Annie Castner and grandson, Joseph Gaspard. The Baldridge Family has requested a visitation to be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
