Gary Lee Binderim

A graveside service for Gary Lee Binderim, age 74, will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana at 10:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jeff Segner. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Gary was born in Joplin, Missouri to Robert "Bob" and Violet "Vi" Binderim and passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 16, 2020 after a long illness. He spent the majority of his working years as a computer programmer, even owning his own business. After retiring, he purchased a vending route and loved it because he got to visit with so many different people each day. Real estate was his next endeavor. He and his daughter, Amy, worked together as a team. Gary was loved by all of his clients and most of them became lifelong friends. The three things he loved the most were his Savior, his family and his friends. He never met a stranger and loved to talk. Even though he had been ill for many years, his smile never dimmed and he never complained. Gary loved his church, Springs of Grace Baptist Church, and never stopped sharing his love for Jesus and Willie Pat, his wife of 55 years. Gary is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Binderim and brother, Bobby Binderim. He is survived by his wife, Willie Pat Binderim; brother, Dickie Binderim and wife, Janie; daughters, Amy Simpson Strong, Julie Reynolds and Lori Impastato and husband, Chip; grandchildren, Conner Simpson, Megan Reynolds, Colton Simpson, Mollie Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds, Joseph Impastato and Sophia Impastato and great-grandchildren, Bryce Reynolds, Kayson Reynolds and Elliot Reynolds. Honoring Gary as pallbearers will be Conner Simpson, Colton Simpson, Kevin Reynolds, Joseph Impastato, Robert Cross and Bob Basinger.
