Glen McCrory

Funeral services for Glen McCrory, 81, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Jerrell Head officiating and Bro. John Kautz assisting. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Glen was born July 4, 1937 in Natchitoches, LA and went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2019. He enjoyed fishing. He loved God, his family and friends, and his farm. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Opal McCrory; and first wife, Sybil McCrory. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn McCrory; son, Jeff McCrory; daughter, Lisa Brock; stepson, James Bamburg (Cathy); grandchildren, Carson Boggs (Renee), Dillon Hervey, and Chastity Peterson (William); great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Carson Glen, Cheyenne, and Aubrey; sister, Patti McCrory; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Paul Robertson, Jeff McCrory, James Bamburg, Derek Hall, Brandon Hall, and Gary Sims. Honorary pallbearer will be Glen Brown. The family would like to give a special thanks to his Landmark Baptist Church family and friends.
