Gloria Pearson Ward

A graveside service for Gloria Pearson Ward, 76, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Plain Dealing Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Whitney of First Baptist Bossier. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, LA. Gloria was born August 24, 1940 in Choudrant, LA to Lizzie Hammons Pearson and James E. Pearson and went to be with her Lord and Savior August 20, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Preceding Gloria in death was her husband, James Earl Ward, her parents, and brother, James Pearson. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Edwin Ward and wife, Charlene of Nacogdoches, TX, and Carlton Ward of Blanchard, LA; daughter, Robin Ingram and husband, Charles of Commerce, GA; sister, Jessie Pearson Miley and husband, Gene of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Noah Ward, Emma Ward, Danielle Cole, Alesha Ingram and Fiancé, A. J. Bond, and Sara Ingram; sister-in-law, Jan Moore and husband, Gene; special friends, Maybelle Broussard, Becky Kester, Ruth and Melvin Moon, and Mary Martha Sunday School Class.
