Hazel McCoy Kreeger was born May 6, 1924 in Red River Parish to parents, Carl Claude and Ludie Harvey McCoy and passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Kreeger; parents; brothers, Claude W. McCoy and wife, Neva; infant brother, Chester McCoy and sister, Erlene M. Mitchell and husband, Roy D. She is survived by daughters, Sharon K. Lambright, Vicki K. Smith and Leigh Anne Roberts; grandchildren, Mark and Brian Lambright, Stacy Smith and husband, Brandon, Joseph L. "Trey" Roberts and wife, Erin; great-grandchildren, Ashley Gardernhire, Larz Lambright, Makenna Smith, Gentry Lee and Easton McCoy Oppermann-Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Old Chapel Cemetery in Coushatta, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Mimi McDowell.
