Arcadia - Funeral services for Sister Hilda Antee, of Arcadia, Louisiana will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, at the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Hilda was born January 25, 1948 in Rayville, Louisiana to Lonnie Charles (L.C.) and Dorothy Temple Smith. She passed away on January 15, 2021, in Arcadia, Louisiana with her loving family by her side. Sister Hilda was a strong woman of God. She was a very faithful woman who prayed earnestly for many people through her lifetime. In 1994, Hilda and husband Roy began their ministry in the Arcadia area on Rich road, by starting the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, under a tent. The church ministered to many in the community, and beyond. Hilda had a passion for teaching others about her faith. Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Antee, parents L.C. and Dorothy Smith, son James Roy Antee, grandson Jon Antee, sister Lynett Walters, nephew Josh Walters, and brother Ronnie Smith. She is survived by her children Shane Antee and wife Brenda, and Wendy Antee, grandchildren Bert Crawford, Zack Crawford, Jacob Antee, Abigail Morris, Sean Morris, and Jace Morris, great granddaughter Cleo (Messy) Doerr, sister Lonnie Berry, and by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Honoring Hilda as pallbearers will be Roy Linder, Charlie Smith, Sidney Smith, Nick Smith, Joseph Smith, Zack Crawford, Jim Wright, Justin Smith, and John Henry Little. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Antee, Sean Morris, and Jace Morris.
