Hoye Bowman

Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Mr. Hoye Bowman, age 72, at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. The interment will follow at Driskill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to service. Hoye was born November 14, 1942, in Bienville Parish, to Tommy and Daffie Thomas Bowman. He entered into rest on July 30, 2015, El Dorado, Arkansas. Hoye was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and worked for many years in Arcadia as the Hospital Administrator. He was an avid and skilled basketball player in his youth, almost making the La. Tech. Basketball Team as a walk on. In later years, his favorite activity was coaching his and other children in little league baseball. He is preceded in death by his sister, Tommie Hogan. Hoye is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Sandra McKethan Bowman, sons Derron Bowman and wife Dawn, Keith Bowman and wife Rebecca, Jarrett Bowman and Brent Bowman, and by numerous grandchildren and other family and friends.
