Marthaville, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Iris Marie McPhearson, 101, will be at Jennings Chapel in Marthaville, LA with visitation from 11:00 am till time of service at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 4, 2015 with Reverend David Hill officiating. A graveside service will follow at Beulah Cemetery, Marthaville, LA led by Dr. Jeff Jinks. The family will receive friends at the Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA Thursday December 3, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Iris was born in Sabine Parish, LA on August 27, 1914 to Jonah and Lizzy Weeks and passed away on December 1, 2015 at DeSoto Regional Hospital, in Mansfield, LA. Preceding Iris in death were her parents Jonah and Lizzy Jones Weeks, husband, R.C. McPhearson; Sons, Rickey Lynn McPhearson, Clyde McPhearson, Paul Dean McPhearson and 5 Siblings. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, William Henry McPhearson and wife Yvonne; Daughter-in-laws, Nancy McPhearson, Lurline McPhearson; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. Those honoring the life of Grannie as pallbearers will be Joshua Blakley, Jody Blakley, Dale McPhearson, Brian McPhearson, Brandon Isgitt, Mike Campbell, Trent Soileau, and Shane Miller.
