Ivy Christoher

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Ivy Christopher, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the funeral home. Ivy was born on February 17, 1932 in Jackson, TN to Sid Tweedy and Leatha Tweedy and passed away on January 27, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Eugene Christopher, daughter, Diane Addie, and son, Kenny Christopher. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Christopher, Jerry Christopher, and James Christopher; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
