Waskom, TX - A graveside service for Jacqueline Shamburger Haston, 90. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Haston died Monday, January 12, 2015 at Carroll Nursing Home in Oak Grove, La., after lengthy illness. She was born in Tyler, Texas, May 3, 1924. She was a former resident of Shreveport for 30 years, resided in Waskom, Texas for 25 years and resided the past 11 years in Oak Grove, La. She retired from Louisiana Bank and Trust of Shreveport, La. Mrs. Haston was a proud and active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband of 53 years, George F. Haston. She is survived by her two sons, Joel Haston and wife, Colene, and Rhea Haston and wife, Denise, two daughters, Noel Haynes and husband, Ronney, and Sara Clinton and husband, Ronnie, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
