JANET "JAN" HART MUSICK   SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Janet Hart Musick, 61, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Beulah United Methodist Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Jan was born on April 5, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to Roland Hart and Fay Brown Hart, and passed away on April 28, 2016 from a lengthy illness. Jan was interested in numerous hobbies, but the ones she loved most were softball and golf. She loved spending time with her family and friends, supporting and cheering for all the kids' baseball games. Jan was preceded in death by her father, Roland T. Hart and nephew, Gregory Irby. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Fay Brown Hart; ; brother, Allan Hart and wife, Robin; other mother and special friend, Mary Reeve and husband, Jimmy; nieces, Emily Irby, Megan Whitard and husband, Jared, Callie Lutterman and husband, Jerry; nephew, James Reeve; special great-nieces and great-nephews, Emersen and Kasen Irby, Josie Whitard, Steven, Christopher and Matthew Lutterman, and Tyler Reeve; She also leaves behind numerous family and friends, and she will be truly missed. Honoring Jan as pallbearers will be Jerry Lutterman, Dan Hart, Jimmy Reeve, James Reeve, Jared Whitard, and Joe Bailey. Jan's family would like to say a special thanks to the Christus Health Cancer Center, Dr.'s Kamm and Dr. Boniol, and the Grace Home for the wonderful, loving care they gave and will always appreciate each of you for the love and strength you gave not only to Jan but to her family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude's 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of donor's choice.
