Janet was born on March 15, 1962 in Bronx, NY to her loving parents, Cesar Richard and Carmen Gonzalez and went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2019. She was an incredible wife of twenty-five years to Michael Anthony Tyler and the most caring and loving mother of Michael Christian Tyler; their love as a family unit was unmatched. She was also the adored and affectionate godmother of Ashlynn Marquez and Jaden and Camila Herrera. She was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force as a Medical Administrative Specialist for four years and achieved Expert Marksman status. She attended college at InterAmerican University (Universidad InterAmericana) in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, where she earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. She also completed her two-year degree in Biblical Studies. She was employed as a floor supervisor in the hospitality industry for more than twenty-five years. She was a faithful member of Word of Life Center in Shreveport, LA for twenty-three years and served as a leader of the greeter's ministry, an assistant in the children's church, and an English-Spanish translation facilitator. She also volunteered with her son at the Bossier City Lighthouse for Children. Janet was an extraordinary woman who brightened the day and the lives of anyone who came into contact with her. She had a wonderful bond with her mother and father whom she tirelessly honored and loved. Janet loved to love people and was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her husband and son; she embraced every moment with them. She had a spectacular personality and always made people around her smile. Janet was her husband's sunshine as he often sang "You are My Sunshine" to her. Their relationship was the stuff dreams are made of. She truly loved and adored her son with a passion and always spoke of him with a sparkle in her eyes. Her son affectionately labeled her as "the best mommy in the world."
