Janette Baughman

STONEWALL, LA - Janette Calvet Baughman was received into Heaven on July 14, 2015. Welcoming her into Heaven are her parents, T.H. and Neoma Calvet; and her husband, David Baughman. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her 2 daughters, Pam Smith and Kim Baughman; son, Mik Smith and girlfriend, Brandie Stewart; her special love, Ralph Yount and his 5 children; 2 sisters, Mattie Nadine Blair and Cindy Smith; one sister of the heart, Betty Collins; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Stormi Addison, and Emily Smith; 7 nieces; 2 nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews.

Janette was a courageous woman who fought and won multiple battles with cancer. She enjoyed working outdoors and gardening. She loved doing for others and volunteering for different causes. She had a very special place in her heart for her dogs and granddogs. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she once put up enough Christmas lights outside, that her house was mistaken for a landing strip for small airplanes.

Services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the funeral home.

Honoring her as pallbearers are Celida Hayes, Beverly Mitchell, Mandy Jones, Kristi Lee, Stephanie Blair, and Nicki Tucker.
