Jeffrey Cummings

Funeral services will be held for Jeffrey Cummings, age 48, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Bro. Stan McGee will officiate. The interment will follow at Williamson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Jeffrey was born July 14, 1971, to Jerry Cummings and Donna Griffith. He entered into rest on Monday, October 21, 2019. Jeffrey worked in the Timber industry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved watching LSU and the New Orleans Saints play football, and enjoyed racing cars and watching NASCAR. Jeffrey was a loving son and uncle who will be missed by all who knew him. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his grandparents Dewey and Linnie Grace Cummings, Donald and Betty Griffith, and by his aunt Beverly Kea. He is survived by his father Jerry Cummings and wife Carla, mother Donna Towns, brother Todd Cummings and wife Lori, step sisters Tracy Barber and Lacey Peoples and husband A.J., uncles Michael Griffith and wife Cindy, and Roy Kea, aunts Ann Simmons and Cherry Beets, nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Zachary, Madison, Bradyn, Ryder, Jase, Alyssa, Nathan, and Hannah, and by numerous other loving family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Derek Fontenot, Jeff Poole, Doug Mills, Briley Carter, Brandon Reeves, and Zachary Cummings.
