Graveside services for Jere Kendrick, 68, will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. Jere was born August 1, 1952 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After a long, hard battle with cancer for 13 years, he passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jere is proceeded in death by his father, Jere Kendrick Sr. and his brother Pat Kendrick. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Helen Wendling; wife of 16 years, Mary Kendrick; siblings, Jan Poole and husband, Steve and Cindy Fortson and husband, Jimmy; aunt, Polly Baker; children, Kimberly Kendrick Wise and husband, Josh, Shelley Massey, Aaron Kendrick and wife, Crystal; step-daughter, Chelsea Alexander and husband, David; grandchildren, Tristan Wise and wife, Haley, Chase Wise and wife, Natalie, Kailey Wise, Creighton Massey, Arielle Kendrick, Aaron Kendrick Jr., Raelynn Kendrick, Christian Kendrick, Taylor Porter, Anna Porter, Caeden Alexander, and Reily Alexander.
