Baton Rouge, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Jerry Alvin Sanders, 58, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, LA with Reverend Joe Farrister officiating with reception following at 8193 Oak St, Pleasant Hill, LA 71065. Jerry was born on August 29, 1957 in Converse, LA to Fred and Corrine Smith Sanders and passed away on May 22, 2016 in Denham Springs, LA. Preceding Jerry in death were his parents Fred Sanders, Jr and Corrine Sanders Blankenship, and step son Patrick "Tommy" Broadway. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Angel Sanders Covington of Denham Springs, Robin Sanders and DJ Shoalmire of Denham Springs; brothers, Fred Sanders, Jr and wife Delia of Cameron, LA, Oliver Ray Sanders of Pleasant Hill, LA, David Sanders and wife Margaret of Gonzales, LA, Terry Sanders and wife Tami of Walker, LA; step brother, Dennis Blankenship and wife Becky of Pleasant Hill, LA; grandchildren, Matthew Sanders, Adam Covington, Kaden Sanders, Ryland Shoalmire; son-in-law, Bryan Covington, 8 nieces and nephews, and his beloved niece Allison Sanders. Those honoring the life of Jerry as pallbearers will be Fred Sanders, Jr, Oliver Ray Sanders, David Sanders, Terry Sanders, Bryan Covington, and DJ Shoalmire
