Homer, LA - Funeral service for Jewell Pendarvis Hudson, 90, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA, Pastor John Harp will be officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Pollock, LA. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Jewell was born on June 2, 1925 to Archie and Annie Pendarvis in Pollock, LA. She passed away on October 9, 2015 in Homer, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 57 years, James Maloie Hudson. She is survived by her son, James Michael Hudson and his wife, Debra, daughter, Wanda Gale Lout and her husband, Jan, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
