Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Jimmy Lonidier, Sr., age 81, at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Bro. Tony Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Driskill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 on Thursday.
Jimmy was born September 8, 1937, to J.H. and Jesse Sanford Lonidier in Arcadia, LA. He passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, in Arcadia, LA. Jimmy loved to watch Westerns and NASCAR, he enjoyed woodworking, and had made a lot of 911 signs for people who lived in Arcadia.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Lonidier, brothers Harrison and Howard Lonidier, and by sister Peggy Chrisman.
He is survived by his children Jimmy Lonidier, Jr., Johnny Lonidier, Danny Lonidier, Mike Lonidier, Michelle Cook, Jessica Ellison and Leslie Pullig, step children Amanda Eastman, Christie Culver, and Michael Neuroth, by 27 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, by brother Donald Ray Lonidier, and by numerous other nieces, nephews and family.
Pallbearers will be Josh Lonidier, Daniel Lonidier, Jacob Cash, Jason Lay, Shawn Ellison and Darron Pullig.
