Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Jo Morris, 81, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Rose-Neath's Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Frank Ott and Robert Springer officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Logansport, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Mansfield Funeral Home on Friday, August 31, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Jo was born January 11, 1937 to Newton and Annie Bell Temple and passed away on August 29, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. Preceding Jo in death were her husband Joseph Herman Morris; her parents; four sisters; and one brother. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Toni Joe Morris and wife Christine of Mansfield, LA, Ronald Dean Morris and wife Nancy of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Marilyn Jonette Mays of Mansfield, LA; sisters, Claudine Howard, Maxine Collins, Marie Rascoe; seven grandchildren, Buford, Roy, Rachel, Keith, Megan, Jacqui, Jessica; ten great-grandchildren, Anessa, Rylan, Kailee, Colby, Troy, Evan, Maci, Trevor Joe, Colbi; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Honoring Jo as pallbearers will be Bruce Temple, Ricky Temple, Jason Powell, Steven Rowe, Buford Morris and Roy Morris.
