Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of JoNell Lum Campbell, 75, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield with Rev. Simmons, Rev. Wead, and Bro. McManus officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, LA. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Mrs. Campbell was born in Converse, LA to Willard A. Lum and Syble Booker Lum Smith. She passed away at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport with family by her side. JoNell was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Noble, LA for 56 years. She was a graduate of Converse High School and resided in Union Springs Community in Converse, LA. She was an owner of Toledo Bend Realty and K.L. Campbell Enterprises. God gave her a special musical talent that she loved to use for the glory of God. She served as pianist at Noble United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed time spent with her family during the holidays and other family gatherings, especially with grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Campbell in death were her parents Willard A. Lum and Syble Booker Lum Smith; husband, Kelly Leon Campbell; brother, Charles Alwyn Lum. Those left behind to cherish her memory are sons, Carlton Leon Campbell and wife Cindy; Michael Daniel Campbell and wife Julie; Jason Layne Campbell and wife Amy; brothers Alvin Glynn Lum and wife Barbara; Donnie Lum and wife Billlie; grandchildren Emily Taylor Campbell, Payton Rollins Campbell, Kristen Elizabeth Campbell, Michael Dylan Campbell, Kaitlyn Danielle Campbell, Sarah Rose Campbell, Erin Carleen Campbell, and Cassie Layne Campbell. Those honoring JoNell as pallbearers will be Payton Campbell, Dylan Campbell, Dylan Lum, Dalton Lum, Jared Lum, Charles Ray Campbell, and Joseph "Bucki" Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Campbell, Dan Campbell, Jerry Campbell, and Norman Campbell. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Noble United Pentecostal Church.
