Joseph A. Dernovish, Sr.

Joseph A. Dernovish Sr. \"Joe\", born on February 6, 1940 in Gallup, New Mexico passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He served in the United States Army and worked as an executive and eventually became CEO of RC Cola in Minnesota. He was a devoted Catholic his entire life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, old Western movies and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joe attended St. Patrick's High School in Parsons, Kansas and graduated from St. Mary's of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kansas with a degree in accounting. Joe is proceeded in death by his father, John Dernovish Sr.; mother, Pauline Dernovish; his beloved wife of 42 years, Donna Dernovish; brother, John Dernovish Jr., and his son, Wayne Temple. Joe is survived by wife, Kay Dernovish; his loving daughters, Dana Temple and husband, Ralph, Lori Hahn and husband, Rich, Kelli Joch and husband, David, Cassi Wright and husband, Jock, Lisa Dernovish; son, Joe Dernovish Jr., grandchildren, Adam, Jaxon, Jeffrey, Emma and Abby; sister, Mary Ann Forbes and brother, Robert Dernovish.
