Joy Faucett

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Joy Hunter Faucett, 92, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church in Martin, LA. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor William Valentine. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Joy was born March 22, 1923 in Martin, LA to Julia Bamberg and Charles Hunter and passed away on August 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Faucett. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Dennis H. Brewer and wife, Susie; grandchildren, Susan Denise Brewer, Callie Brewer Jones and husband, Jacob; her sister, Leola Loftin, and brothers, Donald Bamberg, and John Bamberg and wife, Oden. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Leola Loftin, Don Bamberg, John Bamberg, and Jacob Jones. The family would like to say a special thank you and express their sincerest gratitude to Fay Sadler for her friendship to Joy and for all the love and care she gave to her over the years.
