Funeral services for Joycelyn McEachern Wilson, 96, will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Reverend Ronney Joe Webb of First Baptist Church of Shreveport, will be officiating with Reverend Steve Angell of Calvary Baptist Church assisting. Visitation with the family will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Interment will follow services at Forest Park East. Joycelyn was born on December 31, 1921 to Minnie Lee Kendrick and Henry Lang McEachern in Mooringsport, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 8, 2018. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church since the age of 15. Joycelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, Robert Wilson and brother, Langston McEachern. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughters, Linda Washeck and husband Darby, Carol Taylor and husband Rex; grandchildren, Jennifer Sanborn and husband Taylor, Steven Taylor and wife Kelli, Angela Roe and husband Bryan, Rachel Glidewell and husband Samuel; great grandchildren, Isaiah Sanborn, Emma Taylor, Mia Sanborn, Ethan Taylor, Noah Sanborn, Evelyn Taylor and one on the way, Norah Roe.
